 Ingredients

  • 250g (½ lb) shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped

  • 250g (½ lb) crab meat (fresh or canned, drained)

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning (optional)

  • Juice of ½ lemon

For the Ricotta Cheese Mixture

  • 1½ cups ricotta cheese

  • 1 egg

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan

  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

For the White Sauce (Béchamel)

  • 4 tbsp butter

  • 4 tbsp all-purpose flour

  • 2½ cups warm whole milk

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan

  • Salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg

For the Lasagna Assembly

  • 9 lasagna noodles (cooked and drained, or no-boil)

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • Extra parsley for garnish


 Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Seafood Filling

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

  2. Sauté garlic and onion until translucent.

  3. Add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes until just pink.

  4. Stir in crab meat, lemon juice, Old Bay, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat.

Step 2: Make the White Sauce (Béchamel)

  1. In a saucepan, melt butter.

  2. Whisk in flour and cook for 1–2 minutes.

  3. Gradually whisk in warm milk until smooth.

  4. Simmer until thickened.
